As a strategic partner with all Department of Public Safety (DPS)​ divisions, we strive to develop and deliver innovative human resource programs and services designed to increase the performance of the DPS workforce. Our core services include recruitment and retention, staffing, compensation, employee/labor relations, organizational development, employee benefits, wellness, safety and training. 

Human Resources has a full-time staff of 25 at the Town Square building in downtown St. Paul.
