What we do

Fiscal and Administrative Services provides the following services for the Department of Public Safety:

Budgeting
General accounting
Financial reporting
Coordinating payroll
Processing payments
Coordinating purchases
Managing grants, leases and contracts
Providing administrative support

The Office of Fiscal and Administrative Services also provides fiscal oversight for the Private Detective Board and Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education.

Who we are

Fiscal and Administrative Services (FAS) division has approximately 40 full-time employees at the 445 Minnesota St. location in St. Paul.

Our history

The Office of Fiscal and Administrative Services division was created in 1971 as the finance division of the Department of Public Safety.
