What to do if you smell gas?
If you smell gas or a rotten egg smell...
If inside, evacuate by getting everyone out of your home or building right away
- Do not turn on or off any electric lights or appliances
- Do not try and open or close the windows
- Do not try to shut off the gas
Move a safe distance away and then call 911
Stay away until emergency responders have told you it is safe to return
