New funding opportunity with school bus stop arm camera grants
The Office of Traffic Safety is now offering stop arm camera grants to keep kids safe, educate Minnesotans and hold dangerous drivers accountable. The funding opportunity is for school districts, nonpublic schools, charter schools and companies that provide school bus services.
The 2025 school bus stop arm camera phase VII request for proposal (RFP) is now available in e-grants. All responses must be received in e-grants by 4 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, 2024.
Direct any questions regarding the application and evaluation process to Kristen Oster by 4:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15. Answers to questions that are not specific to a proposal will be posted here within approximately three business days.
The RFP provides project and application requirements. You also need to complete the phase VIII work plan template as part of the application.
