Pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 243.167, anyone previously convicted of or adjudicated delinquent for an offense listed on List #1, but who was not required to register at the time of conviction or release from imprisonment because the registration law did not apply to them at that time, is required to register if they commit a “Crime Against the Person” on or after July 1, 2000, and are convicted of an offense listed below (List #2).
